What is Traditional Chinese Medicine? Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a term that covers a wide range of safe, natural and effective treatment methods that have evolved in China over thousands of years. These include Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Chinese Massage, Cupping, Guasha, Moxibustion, Dietary Therapy and Lifestyle Advice. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine are usually employed as the major treatment methods with the remaining tequniques being employed to support and enhance the treatment outcomes. The treatment method selected may involve one or a combination of the above depending on the presenting condition and will be tailored to each individual.
