About Kristie ...
Kristie has always had a passion for health, nutrition and alternative medicine and she has been practicing yoga for over 11 years. After travelling the world Kristie settled in Germany where she developed an interest in homoeopathy and biodynamic agriculture. After learning that Traditional Chinese Medicine was one of the oldest forms of medicine in the world she returned to Sydney to begin the journey of a lifetime studying this powerful and ancient form of healing.
Kristie has been studying and practicing acupuncture for over 6 years. After completing the Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the University of Technology in Sydney, she received further training at China's major hospital in Beijing, where TCM is beneficially integrated with Western Medicine.
Kristie is caring, supportive, compassionate and dedicated to helping you achieve your health potential. She provides each person with a wholistic and individualised treatment plan, often using a combination of modalities which include acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, chinese massage along with dietary and lifestyle advice. These treatments assist in restoring internal balance and stimulate the body’s innate power to heal itself.
Over the years Kristie has developed a special interest in women’s health. Whether women seek to maintain or enhance their health, or cultivate a more balanced lifestyle, Kristie assists women and their partners during pre-conception, pregnancy and beyond. Kristie has worked in various clinics on the Northern Beaches and her dedication to provide wholistic care for women inspired her to become a doula.
Kristie continues to deepen her knowledge and expand her skills by attending regular seminars and workshops. She is a registered practitioner and a member of the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS). Private Health Fund rebates are available.
